. As you can see non of this is true but if Putin says it’s so then you wouldn’t question him would you? In Russia the truth is what Putin declares to be the truth and nothing else. Why one person holds a monopoly on the truth well only Russian people could give an answer to that question. The Russian psyche has become a mystery to the free thinking westerners. Why Russians have handed over the power of their own minds to question, to a supreme leader who supplies all the answers and tells them what to believe is the truth is something that we in the West find difficult. Now Putin controls all the media and the whole narrative and has installed or should I say reinstalled the KGB to police what people in Russia are thinking. Putin tells you what to think and what to believe and the masses who believe him then police other citizens to impose Putin’s rule of law. Putin controls the media, the internet and the police and army and these are exactly the things he needs which allow him to be a dictator. Russians may be suspicious but they are also unquestioning. They are suspicious of one another and of anything Putin declares to be dangerous to them such as westerners. Despite Russian’s suspicion of the West, nobody in Russia can trust anyone else either. This is the society that Putin thrives on. It’s the KGB all over again. Turning your neighbours and so called friends, even family into the authorities for not thinking correctly. As a Russian you cannot trust anyone else and neither can you think for yourself. It’s easier to let Putin decide what you can think and believe than to hold opinions which may be at odds to those of your despotic leader. That would be too dangerous. Putin says that this is a Red triangle and you believe that is exactly what it is. This is all you need to know about Putin’s Russia.
Putin manipulates history to his own advantage
Russian education is worthless and is no more than indoctrination. The problem with Russia is that Russians believe what they are being told. We have already heard that in the parts of Ukraine that Russians have occupied that schoolchildren are being indoctrinated to believe that they are Russian and that Russia has the right to occupy Ukraine. History is being altered and manipulated to legitimise Russian occupation.
However both in occupied Ukraine and in Russia itself facts of history are being manipulated to Russian advantage. Nothing that Russians are hearing and learning is free of indoctrination. Russia controls its own internet in the same way as the Chinese version of Weebo. Therefore it is impossible to verify facts other than those which the authorities allow. History is being doctored, manipulated and distorted. This is yet another control mechanism to control the opinions of it’s people. Schools have become a means of control ensuring that generations grow-up in ignorance of what is actually happening and with a distorted view of both Russia’s place in world and the relationship that it has with the West. History is being changed and manipulated to suit the needs of Putin and the Politburo. History has become a slave to Putin and the Politburo and historic accounts are unreliable in russia nad can no longer be verified. Russia has lost it’s past and it’s future.
Blind allegiance to Putin is a dangerous thing
Russia of today has gone backwards. Russia is becoming inbred and incestuous. Because of Putin Russia is inward thinking which has limited scope. Putin has taken Russia back to his own ideals where every citizen is a slave to it’s leaders. Russia is unquestioning and inbred. All the progress of the last 30 years in Russia has been reversed and it’s back to the days of Stalin and Kruschev with every Russia suspicious of everyone else.
Russia, Putin doesn’t care for you: Putin only cares about his own ambitions and his grip on power. He will continue to send ill-equipped soldiers into war with Ukraine to further his own ambitions regardless of the cost to Russian families. He doesn’t care if they are coming back in wooden boxes in their thousands. Putin would not put himself in danger. All his life has been about protecting himself and furthering his own ambitions no matter at what cost to others. He was a spy and spying meant declaring others and turning them over to the authorities. Putin’s allegiance isn’t to Russia but only to himself. Putin protects and cares about nothing but himself. Putin cares nothing about the sacrifices of others in what is essentially his own personal war. Serving Putin is to serve a person who is morally blind. Putin doesn’t serve Russia: he serves only himself. Putin makes no sacrifices for the people he pretends to serve and he is essentially a coward hiding behind the lines. Every act of Putin has been cowardly and self-serving. Putin brings shame on Russia and Russians bring shame on themselves by supporting Putin’s ambitions. Surely Russians want better than to be remembered for war crimes committed in the name of Putin? The rapes , the torture the killing of children and the elderly. To serve Putin is to serve a monster without humanity. russian forces target civilians and children all in the name of Putin acts of atrocirties in the name of Putin. Not only in this war with Ukraine but those of Syria too have all brought shame to Russia for its war crimes and conduct. Russia brings shame to itself because of it’s unquestioning acceptance of Putin. Blind allegiance to any person or cause is a dangerous thing.
