Who the hell does Theresa May believe she is suggesting that she is championing the working classes in today’s Britain. It just goes to show how out of touch she is and her words are just insulting to working people. This is Theresa May’s attempt to brainwash the working class into believing that the Conservative Party led by her represent the interests of the working classes. It is patronizing, insulting and in bad taste. There are people in Britain who already work hard: damn hard in fact but who get virtually nothing for their endeavours. The Minimum Wage is just a joke and some in Britain are working 60+ hours a week just to scratch a living. Theresa May is now attempting to re-write the Conservative Party History by claiming it champions the working classes where in actual fact history tells us that the Conservatives have traditionally eroded workers rights over the years and took away power from the unions. You have to remember that it is only European Law that is defending the last battalions of Workers Rights and now consider that the Tories are the ones that will be taking us out of Europe. The right wing of the Tory Party have been trying to erode these Workers Rights for years and now that the right wing of the Tories are in total control this should surely be sending out some very strong Warning Signals to the Workers and Working People in the UK. If Not then Why Not?
Don’t forget the high cost of living brought about by the Tories through their privatisation of essential services like Electricity and Gas. Every year we see price rises and price fixing between these companies. Year upon year now we have seen cuts to services like the NHS and the funding of Local Councils. There are areas in this Country where street lights are being turned off at night and where the streets are being left in darkness. This is a Criminals Playground. Gangs of delinquent youths are throwing missiles at cars and running riot in our streets because they know that the police are powerless and that’s even if they bother to turn up. Crime is on the increase but the Government is suppressing this by curtailing local authorities and polices reporting rates. Some crimes are being ignored as crime is being prioritised by stretched forces without the manpower to do a proper job. Some crimes are now going un-investigated. The Probation Service and the Courts are being underfunded, and have been partially sold off to private enterprise who are no longer publicly accountable so they can do as they like virtually unchallenged. All local Council and their Services are being scaled back. In fact Society is going backwards under the Tories.
If the Tories had their way the working class would be even cheaper source of labour. Don’t forget that the Tories opposed the introduction of the Minimum Wage in the first place and that speaks volumes. If the Tories got their way Britain would be a Sweat Shop Economy ready for the exploitations of any passing Capitalist. Theresa May now wants to emulated her despised and hated predecessor Margaret Thatcher and she made reference to reverence to her as she walked past her disgusting image of her that hangs on the walls of Number 10. That’s is one picture I would burn if I got in there I could not live anywhere with a picture of Thatcher on the wall. May certainly wants to be Thatcher Mark II. That is her aim and she is employing the same style by trying to brainwash the working people into believing that she is a champion of their cause. Margaret Thatcher tried the same attempting to divide the working classes on the lines of their own snobbery: selling shares and selling Council properties to buying working class votes. Thatcher waged war on the working classes whilst at the same time talking to them softly as you would a child. Her style was not so much brainwashing as patronising and deceitful trying to tell the working classes what was in their best interests whilst dishing out abusive punishment in class warfare.
Theresa May is desperate and her Government have little room to manoeuvre
Cameron’s Brexit Vote has backed the Conservatives into a tight Corner with little room to manoeuvre. Theresa may has been forced into appeasing the right wing of the Tory Party who are now running the show. The Truth is though that as opposed to Thatcher, May has very little bargaining power at her disposal since Thatcher squandered it all. All she can do now is attempt to appeal to the snobbery and selfish aspirations of some working class people who maybe don’t like to think of themselves as working classes. There is nothing of value to buy any more working class votes with now so Theresa May has now resorted to distorting history and attempting to beguile and brainwash the working class in believing that her despicable Tory Party offer working people real choice. She is attempting to justify and support this with claims that the Brexit Vote has opened the door to a new form of politics where people can have more of a say in what’s going on.
A Brexit Style Referendum on the future of Gas, Electricity and Railways in Britain
Well let’s test the authenticity of Theresa May’s claims to be the Party of the British people prepared to offer the British Public more choice in how the country is run by central Government. Let’s ask Thereas May what would you say to having an open BREXIT STYLE Referendum on what to do with Railways and the Gas and Electricity Energy Providers that your predecessors privatised and which is now so deeply unpopular with the public. What do you think the outcome of that referendum would be seeing that all the public see of these companies is the ‘Fat Cats‘ getting fatter, price fixing cartels or just the sheer amount of confusing tariffs, having to change suppliers every 6 months to get slightly better deals, poor train services, overpriced train services, crowded trains the list goes on. Let’s put these matters up for a vote in a Brexit Style Referendum then if the Tories are so open to public opinion as they are now claiming to be and so willing to let the public have their say on matters of national importance. Lets ask Theresa May’s Conservative Party to offer the public a chance to vote on whether they want to take these industries ( Gas, Electricity and Railways) back into public ownership. Let us see just how much a Champion of the People her Conservative Party really is and lets see if they are prepared to give people the opportunity to reverse the flawed and unpopular privatisations of Margaret Thatcher and John Major. I think this would show you where they actually stand in terms of representing the people. I believe this request would end in the public seeing through Theresa May and her Government’s empty claims to be Champions of the Working People.
The Tories do not represent the people as they claim to instead this change has only been forced on them by the stupidity of David Cameron offering the Brexit Vote. The Tories have backed themselves into a corner with the outcome of this vote and now Theresa May and her bunch are just putting some positive spin on the whole fiasco. Nothing has changed with the Tories they have no real intentions of offering voters any more choice and fairness. Brexit is now a One Way Street and done deal and for the sake of upsetting public opinion the Tories are committed to follow it through to the bitter end. The real truth is that Theresa May and her Conservative Government still represent the Capitalist Minority with a Capitalist Ideology. If you are an intelligent woman Mrs May, which I do believe you are, then you will know that the Conservatives could never claim to be Socialists with a Socialist Ideology and a Capitalist Agenda. The Working Classes are not stupid so do not try to convince us that we are by attempting to beguile and brainwash us into believing such hogwash. Do not try and brainwash us into believing that you have some kind of Socialist Agenda going on. You have to follow Brexit through to the bitter end simply because public opinion suggests you have no choice. To not do this would be political suicide and you know it. The whole matter has nothing to do with offering voters more choice it’s simply that the strength of public opinion means that as the current Government (and Party which offered BREXIT in the first place) you have no choice.
Theresa May stands on the verge of Catastrophe and she knows it
Lets not forget that was actually David Cameron who gave you the vote on Brexit: not May. Theresa May and her Government are quiet simply on borrowed time now and she is an unelected Prime Minister standing on the verge of catastrophe.
Theresa May has been trawling around Europe since she was elected by the Tories as their Leader trying to make friends and get allies in the vain hope of securing something for Britain. But in reality she has achieved nothing. Her attempts to get a good deal have met with stony faces and shut doors. Britain will not get any such deal. David Cameron knew it and that’s why he quit. I think that he believed that, despite offering the chance to vote, Britain would take the most sensible option to stay. Well it all went pear-shaped so he quit. He knew Britain would be unable to get a good deal and that his chances of successfully managing the economy whilst exiting European Union without due criticism would be less than zero so he quit while he was relatively unblemished. The chances of Theresa May having any credibility left after Brexit finally happens will be slim. The Tories are on a massive rollercoaster ride going down down down to the bottom now. Perhaps the Labour Party should do nothing because the Conservatives are on self destruct anyway. However there are many levels which the Labour Party could fight on. The Tories have nothing left after BREXIT to offer the working classes so its now up to the Labour Party to prove that they do indeed have a something to offer the public. The Labour Party needs to offer a plan and a strategy and more choices to the public in a similar BREXIT STYLE Referendum. I have discussed this in previous articles and referred to it above in this article. It’s a vote winner and it’s the Achilles Heel for the Tories because it would be abhorrent for them to even consider any form of public ownership even though there is a strong case for it even if it’s only to provide more funds for local authority services. The other case for it would be to bring down the National Deficit.
Truth is there will be no good deal for our BREXIT. In fact we could be used as an example to others in EU not to attempt to leave. The EU is very concerned about this so it will not make our BREXIT a pleasant affair. It’s likely to very costly for us. we will be used as an example. May knows now that she cannot secure anything good or beneficial for the U.K. so that’s why now she is rushing it through because she realises that it’s pointless. May knows that come March or sometime early Spring next year she could be disappearing down a big hole into oblivion. Her only hope is to convince people of her integrity and beguile you into believing that she can offer you something more than she can actually deliver. Yesterday’s Speech smacks of desperation. Theresa May is clutching at straws trying to cultivate appeal and time is running out for her and the Tories. Truth is that she is simply not appealing at all. The Conservatives performance on the Economy is going to be put under massive strains over the coming months of BREXIT and it will be under massive public scrutiny having a likely effect on us all. Chances are it will fall short of expectations. It is likely that when they have to increase public borrowing to support the BREXIT then they will be judged as poorly as Labour was judged when it had to react to a worldwide market collapse and economic downturn. The Tories continually threw this back at Labour over the preceding years criticising their Government Borrowing to shore up the Economy at those turbulent times and now the Tories themselves are about to hand the guns over to Labour under a very similar set of circumstances.
Theresa May is essentially a Snob herself who believes that the working classes must aspire to better themselves in the same way she has done for herself through a Grammar School Education. She believes that people cannot be happy as being merely working class and so must aspire to be the same as her, she obviously believes that she is better and superior. Her attitude and demeanour is patronising and condescending giving herself an air of superiority. Of course we want the best for our children but I certainly would not appreciate it if mine grew up to be a Snob like Theresa May. All she attempting to do is appeal to the Snob in you. Surely the working classes have learned something by now of the dangers and traps that this can lead to.
