Thatcher misled and mis-sold privatizations in the 80’s and 90’s

Margaret Thatcher misled and mis-sold the privatisations her government’s brought in during the 80’s and 90’s. Current governments should be exploring the legality of these privatizations and seeking the reverse them  by taking these matters to court if necessary. Additionally, privatisations have had lasting negative impacts on public services. There have been costs to the consumer and detrimental effects on the enivornment and particularly the aquatic enviroments. There have been negative effects on tourism and the leisure industries. Privatisations have had a massive effect on the UK and the stench of Thatcher still pervades in Britain with subsequent governments failing to reverse the negative harm of her privatisations. Thatcher mis-sold privatisations by making claims about them that proved to be untruthful.

Water is a National Emergency for Britain

Water is a National  Emergency  for Britain  but it isn’t  being treated that way. The scale of environmental  pollution that is occurring because of the mismanagement by the water companies and the disregard which they have shown towards their obligations to manage this precious resource properly should already be enough to sack em off. What we need to bear in mind is that Water is essential for life. Not only human life but the welfare of creatures living in the environment as well. Water is essential for bathing and cooking. Water is just essential for normal life. So is the right to live in a unpolluted environment  with access to clean rivers, clean beaches and clean seas. Water is a national  emergency  for Britain we are at war with these water companies and it is a national  crisis. It’s  now time for this Labour  Government  to get involved with this crisis.
