Isreal has pursued a genocide in Gaza and that is evident from the fact it has leveled almost all of Gaza. Gaza is uninhabitable. Israel indiscriminately targeted the civilian population of Gaza in a retaliatory rage that was totally disproportional to the harm that they suffered.
The rage was uncontrolled and unreasonable. Many of the targets were innocent citizens who they targeted with missiles and tank fire. Israel murdered civilians. Israel murdered women and children who had no links to Hamas. The IDF were cold and uncaring. Whole families were wiped out without a thought. The death toll is said to be around 72,500 Palestinian deaths as compared to Israeli deaths of around 2500.
The deaths of Palestinians is so disproportionate to the deaths on the Israeli side. Israel used a level of force that the Gazan’s could not match. Buildings were targeted by missiles and tanks and people were killed indiscriminately. They were murdered. Just because it was done by a military force or through high tech weaponry doesn’t diminish the fact that 72,500 people were murdered. Many were children, many were women. Israel had many opportunities to stop the killings but they carried on and on without mind to the fact they were committing genocide. The World should not carry on regardless of the Palestinians who lost their lives, the children who lost their parents and the parents who lost their children at the hands of the Israeli’s.
It’s not a defense to deflect criticism by saying that it is anti-Semitic. Antisemitism is not a defense for the crimes of Israel and the IDF. They still need to be held accountable for their crimes and for the most part we are still awaiting a proper response from World Leaders including our own. We are still awaiting a recognition and awareness from Israel of the extent of their crimes against Gaza. It’s not anti-Semitic to believe that Israel’s actions were disproportionate and probably genocidal. A whole nation cannot be excused simply because they are of Jewish faith. There still has to be accountability for a act of genocide. The fact that around 72,500 Palestinian people were murdered by the Israelis. Around 27% of this figure were children and circa 80% of the total figure are estimated to have been civilians.
