Putin considers the West to be weak and slow and in many respects this is true. Putin makes decisions that go unchallenged and are instigated almost straight away. This is one of the benefits of being a dictator. In comparison the decisions made by the West are slow and often watered down. Before making these decisions there has been a period of debate and considerations that often water proposals down to nothing.
Putin considers the West to be weak probably because of the ways that NATO and the West operste. Think of NATO: it must get unanimous support before it can implement anything. Also NATO is hampered by having Victor Oban of Hungary in it’s ranks. Oban is supportive of Putin which makes matters much worse. So in many ways Putin is right to consider the West as being weak and slow and beaurocratic.
