America should be sidelined on the World Stage

Yes now is the time that America  must be sidelined  on the World Stage. Since Donald Trump has taken over as President it has become increasingly  clear that the USA has nothing positive to offer. The USA used to be a leader on the World’s Stage but quite frankly now it is just an embarrassment for it’s viewpoints and it’s  internal affairs. USA is no longer any role model.

Europe and NATO can no longer rely on the USA.

Basically  Trump is an idiotic madman who has steered the USA into a position that is basically  at odds with the rest of the world. Trump and the USA has nothing positive to offer Europe on matters of the Ukraine, Gaza and Climate Change. Also as regards NATO Trump is actually now a huge hindrance who seems to be assisting Putin rather than tackling with him. Trump has managed to weaken NATO because  of his unwillingness to fully commit  to NATO and his waxing and waning in relation  to his commitment  towards supporting  the Ukraine and Europe. NATO  should sideline Trump now and make it’s  decisions  without involvement of the USA. America has become unreliable  and unstable in the way that Trump is himself. Europe can no longer rely on the USA to make the right choices.

Putin is not interested in peace so he must be defeated

Putin is not interested in peace but President Donald Trump has been trying hard to legitimize Putin trying to convince that he is. Is it that Trump has very clearly misinterpreted the situation or is unable to read Putin’s intentions or is he actually taking instructions from Putin?

‘Be Nice to Putin  Day’ must end now because  Putin  is not interested  in peace

So Friday  15th August 2025 was ‘Be Nice to Putin Day’ dedicated  by President  Donald Trump. What did that achieve?  Well nothing at all really. Putin is a war criminal and a tyrant and instead of being nice to him and offering him a warm welcome he should have been arrested as soon as he stepped  foot on American  soil. God knows what Trump and Putin talked about during their ‘ summit ‘ in Alaska. Most likely Trump was trying to normalize trade relationships  with Russia or taking instructions from Putin. The summit  was a calculated attempt by Putin to buy extra time and extra goodwill from the Trump administration. Putin was not prepared to give an inch on his demands regarding the Ukraine. Following  this summit it is immediately  evident that Trump speaks the words of Putin particularly when it comes to NATO  membership. Both Putin and Trump are misleading the world  with a merry dance in a pantomime  of peace.

The Friday Fiasco: the meeting between Trump and Putin

Let’s  call the meeting  between Trump and Putin ‘the Friday Fiasco‘ because  that’s  what it promises to be. The outcome is predictable that an agreement  will be struck that the War in Ukraine  can be resolved: but only at the cost to the Ukraine. A deal will be struck that will be favourable to Putin. After which there will be considerable  pressure  on the Ukraine to accept Russia’s terms which means conceding land and a possible clause stating that Ukraine would not be allowed  to join NATO in the future.

Don’t  let Trump fool you, this whole fiasco has been orchestrated by Putin

Putin knows that Trump has been looking for a ‘get-out clause’ in his obligations to the Ukraine and certain ties to European countries.. Putin has offered Trump exactly what he wants while at the same time benefitting Putin himself. This is what the Friday Fiasco is designed to do. It’s most likely something that Putin has been drawing up in talks between himself and Trump. it’s something that has been happening in the background build up to the annoucement of these talks. It is the fulfilment of an elaborate plan most likey orchestrated by Putin himself which has been acted out by Trump to give it kudos.

Donald Trump’s misrepresentation of the truth

Donald Trump and the truth and reality have a loose affiliation at the best of times. It’s something that we are getting used to. A misrepresentation of the truth is something that we have come to expect from Donald Trump. However on 05/06/25 he surpassed himself during a meeting with the German Chancellor Friedrich Merz (follow) whereby Donald Trump could be heard explaining the situation between Putin and the Ukraine as ‘like 2 children fighting in the park’ adding that sometimes it’s better to just let them fight and not intervene. So human suffering in Ukraine has been brought down to a very simplistic way of looking at it. A much more accurate analogy would have been to look at it like an aggressive bully beating the shit out of small child and making demands for their property. Putin being the bully. This is either a very poor misinterpretation of the truth or it is a deliberate misrepresentation of the truth.

Trump gives an inaccurate and immature assessment of the War in Ukraine.

Putin must not be allowed to win in the Ukraine

Putin must not be allowed to win in the Ukraine War. It is imperative that Putin must not be allowed  to win anything at all. NATO  and the countries of Europe  must do all they can to make sure that Putin does not  win the Ukraine and is that he is publicly embarrassed in the process. Too many times in the past have the West let Putin score points by not doing enough. Europe now faces it’s biggest challenge since the Second World War and it’s essential that Europe gets it right.

Defeating Putin or at least thwarting  his ambitions is Europe’s biggest challenge since the Second World  War

Is Donald Trump taking lessons from Putin

Is Donald Trump taking  lessons from Putin in how to be a better dictator? It may be that these telephone  calls between Trump and Putin may be more about lessons in dictatorship than restoring peace to Ukraine. So far these calls have resulted in very little  if anything at all with Putin dictating his terms whilst making no concessions. So far Trump has shown very very little in his ability  to negotiate.
