Thames Water is going bankrupt and sinking fast. Years of mismanagement have resulted in this situation. So why should the government throw Thames Water a lifeline or be considering rescue packages. No let them go bust. Let Thames Water slip away down the plughole. So what is the reasoning behind this?
If Thames Water is unable to deliver services then it’s in breach of it’s contract
Once it goes bust it can no longer operate and provide water to the Thames/ London area. Once this happens then this Labour Government will have to declare a state of emergency because public services like water supply are essential. Then the government will be forced to take over the supply of water in this area. Hence appropriating Thames Water in this way without having to pay off any shareholders. Goodbye and good riddance to one of Thatcher’s ill sighted privatisations.
