Boris Johnson’s ‘Oven ready Deal’ turns out to be Brexit Fudge Cake after all

PM Boris Johnson is claiming victory for the deal struck with the EU but isn’t all this, including the run up to the deal, just posturing. The whole thing has just been posturing or more clearly just a Pantomime from start to finish. There never was doubt that a deal was going to be done because it had to be done to save face. A no deal would certainly have kicked the Tories into political oblivion by an act of suicide. Now in truth the whole exercise just looks like a vehicle used by Boris Johnson to ouwst Theresa May and obtain leadership and power in a egotistical political quest that smacks of ambition more than to be a political servant to the will of the people.

So in the run up to the deal we witnessed tough talk but it was all just empty posturing done as an act of showmanship. It was a complete act but equally transparent like the script of a Pantomine. The whole thing smacked of being rehearsed and all the characters were transparent. The truth is that Bodge it simply had no choice other than to strike some kind of deal. The EU would also have understood this but went along with the show almost like an audience at a Pantomime, but all the while ensuring that they would be the real winners. So how does the deal compare to what was promised? From what I have read it doesn’t bear much semblance to what was actually promised. It puts Northern Ireland in jeopardy of seeking actual independence from the UK and could mean a reintroduction of the tensions and troubles as the possibility of a unified Ireland takes focus. Goods in the UK are likely to be more expensive as a result of added red tape. Fisheries have been thrown to the lions as the sacrifice for retaining tariff free trading. Not to mention the chaos for businesses and movement that will happen as a result of leaving a mere week (less if you take into account the holidays) to sort out all the additional details and protocol required, and all because Boris Johnson and the government wanted to sort out the deal in the lowest possible profile hoping that it would slip by largely unnoticed. ‘Bodge it’ was in a tight corner but as usual he is attempting to claim victory where in actual fact there has been none at all. The reality is that the whole thing has been a rather embarrassing fiasco showing up, Boris Johnson, ‘ Bodge-it’ and his Government for what they are:incompetent.

Brexit was not a quest for Sovereignty it became a vehicle for personal political ambition and power

Oven ready Brexit Deal now exposed as a lie to grab power

The electorate were promised a Brexit Deal which now looks like a lie because there clearly was no ‘Oven Ready Deal’ there at all. The electorate were clearly misled about Brexit and hence about the consequences of a no deal scenario.

The Tories now need to be taken to account on misleading the public. A no deal will be hugely consequential to the British economy and to the Tories who have to take the blame for mismanagement of the whole fiasco. The blame can be traced back to the incompetence of Cameron who mooted the whole idea in the first place. There is no one else to blame for the consequences of a no deal except the Tories and Bodge it himself in particular. No deal will cost jobs and lead to misery and a recession. The Tories will not be able to weather the storm that is coming.

PM Johnson just shot himself in the foot

Is it just me or have people also already realised that the PM Boris Johnson has just shot himself in the foot through his reaction and statements regarding the leaked Government documents that Jeremy Corbyn presented to last night’s debate. Johnson’s statement regarding the leaked documents and suggestions that an investigation is needed to address possible Russian involvement basically lends authenticity to the documents which suggest that the NHS is at risk from dealings with the USA in possible future trade negotiations. This is in conflict with previous statements made by Johnson in which he claims that this is not the case and untrue. So it appears that the NHS could be at risk in future trade negotiations with the USA. Johnson has denied this but his reaction to the leak has also given authenticity to Jeremy Corbyn’s claims that this is the case. If the documents were fake then why would he be bothered at all?

‘Let’s get Brexit done’ is just an attempt to dumb down the General Election by the Tories

‘Let’s get Brexit done’ the General Election 2019 mantra from the Tories is just an attempt to dumb down the General Election 2019 into a single issue election. The reason they are doing this is primarily to avoid scrutiny of the key areas where the Tories have let down the British people whilst they have been in government and that amounts to every single area of policy. The Tories have failed Britain whilst in government in every single way possible. It was the Tories under Cameron that introduced this whole debacle. Now they are attempting to avoid proper scrutiny of their miserable failings by attempting to bring this General election down to a single issue Election. Don’t let them get away with it. The Tories should be held accountable for their miserable performance whilst in government by stating very clearly that we don’t want them back in power. Let’s get Brexit done should really be interpreted as let’s get Brexit dumb.

Get Brexit done is a joke : 3 Tory Prime Ministers and they still haven’t accomplished their own idea

Get Brexit done is the new Tory mantra in the run up to the forthcoming General Election but why should we trust them when so far they haven’t accomplished anything at all. Let’s not forget that Brexit and the EU referendum was their idea. Since then all the Tories have accomplished is 3 changes of Leadership: 3 Tory Prime Ministers and nothing at all to show for it other than a stream of incompetences.

Britain left to drift for a month as an irresponsible Prime Minister prorogues Parliament

Like a spoilt child the Prime Minister Boris Johnson has prorogued parliament in order to try and get his own way. Have we ever encountered an act of irresponsibly as big as this. In a time of crisis for Britain the Prime Minister( and how much it pains me to have to refer to him as such) has simply chosen to abandon the normal functioning of government in order to silence his critics and to give him a better opportunity to press ahead with his own agenda without the limitations that parliament could impose on the crazy megalomaniac. Still intent on wrecking Britain and pressing ahead with no deal this prime minister cares nothing at all about Britain he only seems to recognise his own agenda and ambitions. Boris Johnson is bad for Britain! Parliament to him is not a democratic tool it is an obstacle. He still believes he can run the show like he did as London Mayor without opposition. Parliament is another matter and he has already been defeated. So now his idea is to silence parliament to make obstacles to obstruct parliament. This prime minister is just a childish Megalomaniac, a spoilt public schoolboy who is used to getting his own way. Bodge-it is certainly not going to face the horrible consequences of of a British recession and a one sided and exploitative trade deal with the USA. None of these Brexiteers will. Why do you think that the likes of the condescending Rees Mogg support Brexit? These are opportunistic venture capitalists hoping to erode working and living conditions. The likes of Rees Moog would have you living in a Victorian Slum if they could and working for nothing more than to pay them rent and enough food to give you the energy just enough to slave for them the next day. Jacob Rees Mogg is so obsessed with Victorian values he has even written a book about it this speaks volumes in itself. These are simply the people that you don’t  want running this country or telling us what’s best for Britain because what they are really saying is what’s best for them. The situation that can offer them the best possible opportunity and outcome is all that they are really interested in.

These Brexiteering venture capitalists see Brexit as an opportunity to destroy Britain and British institutions. They see it as an opportunity to attack and suppress the working classes and erode their rights. There is no better opportunity than a recession in order to do it, this much they have learnt from Margaret Thatcher who did the same. Economic factors play a large part in offering opportunities to impose change. In a period of uncertainty and desperation often bodes well to make sweeping changes in legislation relating to worker’s rights and conditions of service including pay and minimum wage. Through a recession these keen Brexiteers aim to drive down labour costs and increase unemployment. These are the economic variables that lead to desperation for the working classes which ultimately lead to a relaxation of labour laws and regulations. This is an erosion of conditions for the workers which leads to opportunity to exploit the workforce. High unemployment makes challenging the situation untenable which gives power to the bosses and venture capitalists. Brexit will therefore only lead to misery for the working classes with an erosion of your standards of living and your worker’s rights.

Bodge-it is hiding the truth from you that no deal suits him best

Can you afford Brexit? Has anyone told you how much Brexit will cost you?

Has anyone told you how much Brexit will cost you as an individual or as a family? Did you know that you are likely to be between £2000-3000 a year worse off as a result of Brexit.

Did you know that the average British citizen will be between £2000-3000 worse off as a result of Brexit, that probably means you

The British must like a bad deal

What is wrong with British people it seems that you must just like a bad deal. There has been a significant rise in the amount of people drawn to European based supermarkets in the last decade or more yet the British people seem willing to loose all these benefits by supporting Brexit and heading towards a ‘no deal Brexit’ . So what I can summise is that the British people either just don’t know a good deal when they have one or simply like paying over the odds for commodities. When we leave the EU we will be held to ransom again through the inflated prices of the British and American based supermarket chains often supplying inferior produce at inflated prices. Competition will be reduced and consumer choice will be stiffled. Many of the British people who voted for Brexit will be the same people that shop in these lower priced supermarkets. These same supermarkets will not be able to supply these goods in the same way that they do now. They may well disappear completely. Cheaper and often better European alternatives will be no more. The spending power of British folk will be reduced as we will be forced to pay more for the same goods. Are we just stupid why don’t we see this?

European Supermarkets softened the blows of Tory Austerity Measures for many

European Supermarkets softened the blows of recent Tory Austerity Measures for many British people by offering better deals than traditional supermarkets. Many British people took advantage of this during the period of austerity and continue to do so having realised that the quality of the produce is often much better and much cheaper than the British alternatives. This helped people’s money go farther as prices were rising and wages kept low. Now it seems that the British have got so used to this that they are now simply taking it for granted. However with Brexit this will all change. It is likely that the likes of Aldi and Lidl could just disappear after Brexit with the consequences of poorer consumer choice and the higher prices and often inferior quality of the traditional British Supermarket Chains. This will be as a result of tariffs going onto European produce forcing price rises. For the likes of Aldi and Lidl their current reason to be is because they can offer their goods at competitive prices. This situation is not likely to exist post Brexit. As a result consumers will be forced to pay more for their goods. So the British folk currently looking for a bargain to stretch out their income will soon loose this advantage. So the British will be paying more of their household income on food and other commodities. What is wrong with the British once out for a good deal but so keen to simply discard a very good deal and replace it with a rubbish ‘no deal Brexit’. Tell me where is the sense in that? Who but the very dim witted would do that?

Trump has shown that he is willing to bully the UK and Brexit has given him the opportunity

So this is the life after Brexit: a taster of the special relationship and phenomenal trade deals that await after the UK after Brexit. Or will the UK be a disrespected nation subjected to the bullying behaviours of more stable and powerful economies like the US. The lack of respect shown towards Britain’s ambassador to the US more likely indicates the latter. As our position becomes one of beggar looking for trade deals anywhere we can find them ,we should be mindful that the Eagle of the US may actually be a vulture waiting to pick over the bones of the UK as it struggles along outside the EU. Without negotiating power or powerful friends we could find that the terms of any special relationships may be neither quite as favourable nor mutual beneficial or as respectful as we first naively believed.

Bodge-it Johnson promises everything but will deliver on nothing

Bodge-it certainly sees himself as a Churchill like figure and that is basically what he bases his image upon. He sees this as the moment of Britain’s  greatest need and he sees himself as the figure likely to step in to lead the Country out of it’s darkest hour towards a brighter future. All this really shows is that Bodge is full of his own importance and vanity and is in fact just a manipulative, self seeking individual from a privileged background. Also what Bodge-it fails to grasp is that Churchill reacted to circumstances brought about by other despotic figures in the world at that time. Bodge on the other hand is only trying to fix the mess of his own making and Cameron’s I should add. There is no real comparison between himself and Churchill. Churchill was a great man and Boris is well just a bit of a prat really. So when I hear statements from Bodge suggesting that he will make Britain the greatest place on Earth well you just have to laugh it is so absurd. This man cannot deliver on any of the outrageous promises he makes. He was only trusted with half a job by Theresa May and he managed to mangle and bodge that one up as well. Being a Mayor with little to do really and being a Prime Minister to lead and inspire are 2 very different roles. Bodge will just make a hash of being Prime Minister and lead the country towards ruin. Bodge has no compassion or understanding for those whose livelihoods will be wrecked as a result of his silly political meanderings. For Bodge-it it’s all just a game without serious consequences. He shows little understanding of the real world because he knows that he personally will not have to face the consequences of his silly public schoolboy pranks. Britain is certainly on the verge of catastrophe but the situation is in fact traceable back to Bodge-it-Johnson anyway and the misinformation of his Leave Campaign and it’s outrageous or liberal use of the truth and the figures during that Campaign.
