This series of posts examine Class Warfare in Britain and why we should beware of any attempts by the tabloid newspapers and the Tories to persuade us that we no longer live a class system in Britain. There is an on-going attempt by politicians and some newspapers to persuade us that Britain is now a classless society but is this just another strategy in the ongoing class warfare that exists in Britain? Is it just another attempt to divide the working class’s loyalties and prevent the working class from a state of realisation of where their true allegiances should be? We ask why the working class fail to see themselves as a unified entity and allow erosion of their traditional institutions and support networks from which they have traditional benefited.
