Brexit will result in an Economic Crash for UK

Our departure from the European Union will most likely result in a huge economic crash and slump for the UK. Even the Conservative Government has been forced to admit it and is attempting to put a gloss on it. The outcome of this economic slump will impact heavily on the majority of British citizens with likely job losses and home repossessions and high levels of unemployment. So why are this Tory Government so keen to press ahead with this despite the gloomy forecast for Britain?
